How to root karbonn titanium octane plus:


It is not possible to directly root octane plus with any rooting app like framaroot,,,etc.octane plus is the top rated android smart phone in karbonn's rating, running on KitKat accompanied by octacore processor with 2gb ram and 16 GB internal memory.this mobile has some problems like overheating and poor battery,so users wish to directly take the control over it.rooting octane plus involves two steps:

      1. Installing clockworkmod recovery
      2. Flashing superuser zip file


Installing cwm recovery




What’s required:
  1. USB Cable / PC
  2. SP Flash Tool 
  3. Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus drivers
  4. Scatter file for your phone
  5. CWM recovery.img for your phone / ROM
  6. Your brain [download link not available]...... lol ;-)

What to do:
  1. Download and install the drivers for Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus.
  2. Download, extract and run SP Flash Tool.
  3. Click scatter loading on right side of SP Flash Tool and direct SPFT(SP Flash tool) to where your scatter file is
  4. Uncheck everything except for recovery.
  5. In the list of images in SPFT, click the recovery line and direct it to where your CWM is saved.
  6. Click download at the top of SPFT.
  7. You’ll see a warning pop up letting you know that not all items are selected. Just click okay.
  8. Remove the battery from your phone for a second and replace
  9. Attach phone to PC via USB – At this point in the bottom of SPFT, you will see the preloader communicating with the PC. The bar at the bottom of SPFT may flash a couple of different colors, then you’ll see a green circle indicating it’s finished successfully.
  10. Detach the phone
  11. Boot into recovery by holding volume Up and power keys. 

    Congrats you now have CWM recovery on your Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus, now you can enjoy flashing custom ROMs and take a Nandroid backup and rooting

    What to do:

        1.  Place downloaded zip file anywhere on phone's storage or SD card.

         2.  Reboot into recovery (vol up and power).

         3.  Select "install zip from sdcard"

          4.  Select "choose zip from sdcard"or"choose zip from internal SD"(just for locating the zip file).

          5.  Now locate supersu.zip and flash.

          6.  After installation,reboot your mobile.
    Congrats now you have rooted Karbonn octane plus.now you can enjoy running your mobile in high privilege mode and by flashing costom roms

      I have successfully rooted the phone and i am on twrp recovery. Karbonn has released an update for camera apps and other bug fix and i am not able to install it as it fails in recovery. Please let me know how to get it installed.

      I need to download the firmware and extract it but firmware is roundly about 1.2gb.so I can't.try TWRP recovery
